The Dr. Joseph N. Cannon Chemical Engineering Endowment Scholarship Fund will be initiated during Howard University’s (HU) Homecoming Weekend, October 20-22, 2016.
The Chemical Engineering Department is proud to announce the initiation of the Dr. Joseph N. Cannon Chemical Engineering Endowment Scholarship Fund Kick-off during HU Homecoming Weekend 2016. Due to Dr. Cannon’s tireless efforts as a member of the faculty and as Chair of the Chemical Engineering Department, Howard’s chemical engineering program is one of the best in the country. He has prepared countless Howard chemical engineering graduates to compete with the best and brightest engineers in industry for over 40 years.
Dr. Cannon is a living legend in the field of chemical engineering! He is the recipient of numerous Awards for Excellence, and has been recognized by engineering, professional organizations, and other groups. The Chemical Engineering Department honors Dr. Cannon for all of his accomplishments with the creation of this endowment fund.
Please come and celebrate this momentous occasion with us at Homecoming 2016. Our goal is to raise $100,000 for the Dr. Joseph N. Cannon Endowment Fund. We encourage ChemE alums to make a minimum contribution of $1,000 or more. No gift is too small or large and the accumulated value will help to increase the amount of money that we raise for the endowment fund. Your donation to Dr. Joseph N. Cannon Chemical Engineering Endowment Scholarship Fund is tax deductible.
We also encourage faculty and organizations that he is a member of to make a generous contribution to the Dr. Joseph N. Cannon Chemical Engineering Endowment Scholarship Fund.
